Yes, I know I promised I would try to blog more, but I have a really good excuse....no really, I do. I have spent the week making peach jam. 36 jars of peach jam to be exact. From peaches off our peach tree in our back yard. Also I made 8 loaves of bread today. Okay, you can call me "Suzy homemaker" now....I can take it. I still have a basket full of peaches and another couple of dozen still on the tree......peach pie anyone? LOL. Seriously, people around here need to get to eating peaches before they go bad. But don't look at me to eat them, I'm sick of looking at them for a while.
We have also been busy cleaning up our yard. Hubby finally got the cleaning bug after seeing how good the yard was starting to look after all the old trucks were gone. So now we are clearing out the shed and the garage and loading all the junk on a trailer to take to the dump. Then we should have more storage room for bikes and outdoor toys in the shed and Hubby will actually be able to find his tools and stuff in the garage. Yeah!!!!!! Once the outside cleaning is done we'll finish going through the house room by room. Good bye clutter!
First of all, here are pictures of the cake I did for the boys soccer party. It didn't turn out to bad so I thought I'd share.
This is a side view of the cake so y'all can see how the soccer ball looks like it fell into the middle of the cake. Hey, at least it tasted good. Now please tell me I don't have to make, (or EAT), any more cake for a while. My butt can't handle it! LOL
I have been busy today so this post will be short. Like I am known for writing these llllooooonnnnngggggg posts in the first place, right? Anyway, like I said I have been busy. My bff gave me a bunch of clothes for the boys that her boys have out grown. So that meant I had to go through all of my boys clothes to clean out what they had out grown. It was well over due. I was able to get rid of 4 boxes of clothes. Next on the list is their toys. They will have to be gone some where for me to get that done. "No mom, not that, that's my FAVORITE toy in the whole world" (even though I haven't played with it in years).
At least I did get Bugs room done today. Lots of clothes and toys to go to a couple of friends of mine with baby girls. I guess now that summers here I am in the mood to do my spring cleaning, LOL.
Well y'all, I'd better get back to it. It sounds like my dryer just stopped, so it's time for the next load. And then still so much to do after that.
