Well Tuesday Ms. B and I got everything resolved with the boys. She came over to apologize and ask if we could start over, and yes, I even apologized too.
Not a lot going on around here. I'm being lazy today since I have several things to do tomorrow. We are having a family reunion with my moms family on Sat. and she's got me doing the cake. If it turns out I'll post pictures. If it looks like a drunken monkey decorated it, then I won't. Plus I have a few other things to prepare for Sat. Hubby's probably going to have to work that day, ( and is most likely happy about it ), so I'm going to have a BLAST dealing with transporting food, drinks, a cake, and 3 kids by my self. YEAH! Do I have you convinced that I am excited about this? Really, I am hoping that the reunion goes well. My mom is doing this to get every one together one last time before my uncle passes. He had colon cancer 4 years ago and the doctors were not able to get it all. They gave him 4 to 5 years after the surgery. Well we just found out about a month ago that the cancer is back and has spread through out his body. They put him on pain meds and told him there is nothing else they can do. So now it's just a matter of time. It is really hard on my mom because he has always been more like a father to her than a big brother, ( he is several years older than her). He is even the one that gave her away at her wedding.
One of these days I'll have to get on here and write about my crazy family. Except, from all the blogs I've read, they're really not all that crazy. I'm learning that my family is actually quite normal. Now that's scary.
Okay, now I am off to dry my hair and run to the store for field trip supplies. My oldest has a field trip tomorrow that I managed to get out of. I can't hardly handle a bus full of 8 and 9 year olds. Luckily, they only allowed 2 parents from each class and I didn't volunteer early enough.
I love my kids, it's every body else's that get on my nerves. Just kidding. Maybe.
At some point today I need to find time to get on ABC.com and watch Lost again since I missed parts of it last night. I have been watching it since the begining, and like the title, I am usually lost. But I am also hooked. By the way, does anyone know if Claire's father is also Jack's father. I thought it was maybe the same guy, but I'm not sure.

What is going on?
Okay, so for the year or so I have been helping out my 70 something year old neighbor across the street with her 5 year old great-grandson, ( yes, I said great). I send him to the bus stop in the mornings with my 2 boys. I answer any and all school related, and sometimes not so school related, questions she may have. I show her how to use the digital ear thermometer, how to put staples in the stapler, and just what ever else may come up. She is a very sweet and generous lady. She brings me books to read all the time. And packages of meat fresh from the store as a way to say thank you for all my help. And I don't mind helping her at all, (usually), and honestly I don't do it for the free meat, ( although with three kids this is a plus). But today.....today was not the day. My oldest came home and said that Mrs. B was probably about to come over to talk to me because he accidentally hit K on the ear with a tennis ball. I went through all the, "are you sure you are telling the truth and didn't hit him on purpose?" "I'm sure mom, he stood up right in front of the ball when I threw it." Okay, this will be okay, I will deal with this even though I already have a pounding headache. Well, she makes it to my house with K and the little boy from next door who house the incident took place. Before she could even get started I asked C what happened and got the same story as I got from my son. Ya'll, this is the first time I have ever really stood up to this woman. I was brought up to respect my elders but, I knew this was coming. She has been singling out my oldest for a while now and I have been biting my tongue, but today I just couldn't take it anymore. She actually told me that if it had been my other son, Boo, she wouldn't have even walked over! What!!! I know my younger son has a more laid back personalty, and my oldest is very bossy, but he would not try to really hurt someone like that without being provoked, (except his brother), and IT WAS A FREAKING ACCIDENT in the first place, which, I might add, he apologized for!!!! Well once she realized that I wasn't going to punish him, and told her they were not allowed to play with each other for a while, "because I am sick of this," she went back home. K was back at my house minutes later, (duh), waiting on my younger son to come outside. I told him he wouldn't be able to play because he needed to clean his room first ( in which case he will never play outside again b/c he hates to clean his room), so he should just go home. Minutes after that.....she walks back over to ask if she needs to start taking K to the bus stop in the mornings since I got so mad, (double duh), but being the sweet neighbor that I am I told her, " I will still get him to the bus in the mornings, it is not a problem, and I don't mind helping you out." And believe it or not I really did mean it. And I guess I won't hold my breath for any meat for a while. Oh yeah, when Hubby got home and heard all about it, well let's just say there is no telling when K will get to play with our boys again. ( I seem to remember hearing something about a certain place freezing over?!)
Okay, after my last post and now this one maybe I got my gripping out of my system for a while. Gotta love this blog therapy!

Another year older, time for a new best friend?
Okay, so I am kinda bummed. I turned 32 a few days ago. No big deal, just another day. I am fine with it. The problem is the fact that it wasn't a big deal with really anyone. My husband, my friends. Nada, zip, nothing. Hubby got off easy, I found a pair of shoes I liked, he told me to buy them and they would be from him. At least he did remember to tell me Happy Birthday that morning and remind the kids to say it to before he left for work. And at least my parents made it a point to try to make it a special day, out to lunch with mom and a dozen roses from dad, but that was about it. Really I know it should not be a big deal. I know my friends have a lot of stuff going on in their own lives, it just nice to be thought of now and then. It would have been nice if it could have a least been a little bit important to my best friend, but she is now to busy dating my brother-in-law. I don't know why, but this really bugs me. Them dating. I have never been bothered by his other girl friends, (except for the fact that I just didn't like most of them), and I was okay with her last boy friend, (except he was kinda weird). But the two of them together is just uh! I don't even know how to put it into words. I guess I just miss hanging out with her, like she doesn't have time for me unless he's not around. And it is effecting his and hubbys friendship too. They are usually best friends as well as brothers, But now all his time is spent with her. Oh well, what can ya do?, they are both adults, even though they don't always act like it. And, (okay this is rude, but), it probably won't last any way. In the mean time, maybe I just need to find a new best friend.

My exciting life
decided to play video games and take a break from the warm day. When it rains they beg to go out. When it's beautiful out, they want to stay in and play . Oh well, at least they are busy and happy and I am not hearing Mommy, mommy, mommy every five seconds.
