Ugh.....what a week

I'm sorry I have been MIA all week. It has been crazy. Tuesday I had to work. My mom watched K-bug for me that day. So after school the boys and I were on our way to pick her up, I was stopped at an intersection waiting for traffic to clear so that I could make a right when suddenly I was rear-ended. We were all okay, and I was still able to make it to my mom's, but my car is totally screwed up. So now I have to find a CHEAP, but reliable car that we all can fit in......fuuuunnnnn. It really pisses me off because I didn't do anything wrong. Now because of some 18 year old chick on a cell phone I have to get another car, and I CANNOT afford a car note, and my 9 year old car isn't worth much, and insurance will only give us 75% of the cars worth! Okay, sorry, I had to vent. I will try to post pictures soon.

*update....this is what the back end of my car now looks like. Notice how the trunk lid is touching the back window, any harder and G-man would have been covered in glass and very possibily hurt.

In other news....yesterday was my 33rd birthday. And let me just say I have great friends. One conned me out of the house so that my bff could fill my house with huge helium balloons, a cake, and even presents. Plus I spent the day shopping with my Mom and got some really cute clothes......totally awesome day! Again, I will post pictures soon.

*These are the shirts that I got. I know what y'all are thinking so "no, I'm not pregnant." They do look a lot like maternity tops though.

I also got two pair of pant for work, plus a pair of Old Navy jeans that I don't have a picture of because I am wearing them now.

I told the hubby that he bought me the shoes. They are to go with the lawn mower he got me, (don't ask, it's another post for another time).

The necklace and birthstone earrings are from my BFF.

Busy, busy, busy.......I haven't had to work since last week, and probably won't until next since the kids have their end of term tests all week. But I have been busy none the less trying to get my house back in order and my laundry caught up.

I registered K-bug for k-4 last Friday. I can't believe my baby will be starting school in the fall. I will be trying to work as much as possible next school year just to fight the laziness that is me sometimes.

Hubby has been working mega over-time this month. so I haven't really gotten to see a lot of him. This is probably a good thing.....absence making the heart grow fonder and all......um yea.

Nothing exciting going on around here. I officially become a soccer mom again next week. I love to watch my boys play, but the early Saturday morning games are tough, since that's usually my day to sleep in. I just hope it will start warming up for good around here. This back and forth from 70 degrees to 30 degrees and back again is getting old. Okay, I'm sorry to be bitching y'all, cause I know some of you would love 30 degree weather right now with all the snow that some of y'all got last week. I so don't miss snow. But this is the deep south and I am ready for it to be Spring!

BTW, spell check is working again, Yeah!!!!!

Oh, and btw again....Annie, the Special K w/ chocolate pieces makes the best late night snack (low in calories, 160 w/ fat free milk), and are a cereal lover like me. Have you never heard of it?
