Warning: Adult language

So here are some things I have learned in my 11 1/2 years of marriage......

1-It is easier to fake an orgasm than it is to fake being happy.
2-Men can be selfish monsters.
3-Especially when they are drunk.
4-No matter how hard you work as a wife and mother, it is never enough. Don't expect a thank you unless you ask for one.
5-Especially from selfish husband.
6-Sometimes life really sucks.
7-When you have kids, you have no choice but to deal with the shitty days, put on a happy face, and still try to be a good mom.
8-Sometimes I really, really, really don't like the man I am married to.
9-I feel stupid for still loving him even when I really, really, really don't like him.
10-I know deep down that I deserve better than the shit I put up with on a regular basis.

Sorry y'all, but it was a really shitty weekend and I just had to vent. I am trying really hard to be mature with my anger and not throw all of his clothes out in the front yard and run over them with the lawn mower, (although it is soooooo tempting!), or break something of his, (he doesn't have anything worth breaking anyway, most of the stuff in the house came with me).

I just really can't get into what has got me in this mood, but it has a lot to do with the husbands drinking. And that this weekend his drinking led him to become a complete fucking asshole.

Again, I am sorry for the language. I rarely talk like that. It was even difficult for me to type. But it's how I feel, and that is what this blog is for........................

Okay, so it's what, like two weeks til Halloween? I need ideas on costumes for my kids. Money is tight right now, so store bought costumes are really out of the question. I have tons of scrap material, and can get more cheap, but what I need are ideas. So I am enlisting help from all of my creative blogging buddies out there. G-man is 9, Boo is 7, and K-bug is 4. I might have a lead on hers....she told me today that she wants to be a "kitty kat". I'm thinking grey sweats, sew some ears on a head band, and sew a tail that I can then pin to the sweat pants. Please y'all, any suggestions would be great. And I promise I will even post pictures of them after!

Boo's 7 th Birthday.....It's a racing cake, not some of my best work

G-man and his Pawpaw's Birthday's are one day apart, so sometimes we celebrate them together.

K-bug just had to have a purple care bear. I know, it looks kinda blue in the picture, it did in person too, but she loved it just the same.

This is the one I did for my cousins 18 th Birthday. He got a kick out of it.

I have more, but they are on a disk somewhere and I am too lazy to look for them.

What kind of soap is in your bathtub right now? Irish Spring, hubby's favorite
Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator? No
What would you change about your living room? It hasn't been too long since we redecorated it, so not much, except putting in the laminate wood strips that go between the wood and the ceramic tile at the entry way and the dinning room.
Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty? Neither, it's empty since I usually hand wash my dishes.
What is in your fridge? Milk, kool-aid, sweet tea, leftovers, and the usual condiments....I need to go to the store.
White or wheat bread? I prefer white, but I need to start eating more wheat
What is on top of your refrigerator? I'm not really sure, and I am kinda scared to check.
What color or design is on your shower curtain? Butterflies in the master bath, sea shells in the kids/guest bath.
How many plants are in your home? 3 peace lilies that only get watered when they are on the verge of death!
Is your bed made right now? Sorta, I did straighten it, but hey, I do make the kids bed almost every day.
Comet or Soft Scrub? Neither, I usually use a vinegar and water mixture to clean with.
Is your closet organized? As much as it can be. It's not very big, so I have to racks on each side, hubby's stuff on one side and mine on the other. It's as close to a walk-in as I could get.
Can you describe your flashlight? Which one? We have several and can never find any of them when we need it!
Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home? Plastic...glass and 3 kids just don't go together around here.
Do you have iced tea made in a pitcher right now? Always.
If you have a garage, is it cluttered? We are working on converting our carport into a garage. I am usually the one who cleans it, (because I get tired of tripping over hubby's crap), so yes it's cluttered, but it is also fairly clean.
Curtains or blinds? Both mostly, just curtains in Boo's room since he tore his blinds up.
How many pillows do you sleep with? 2
Do you sleep with any lights on at night? Does the TV count? I set the sleep timer on it before I go to sleep.
How often do you vacuum? Depends on how messy my floors are and if we are having company, usually 3-4 times a week anyway.
Standard toothbrush or electric? Standard
What color is your toothbrush? White and pink.
Do you have a welcome mat on your front porch? No.
What is in your oven right now? The oven racks.
Is there anything under your bed? A dismantled toddler bed that I need to get rid of.
Chore you hate doing the most? Cleaning the bathroom
What retro items are in your home? Nothing really, unless you count toys that were mine and now belong to my kids.
Do you have a separate room that you use as an office? Not so much an office as a junk room. The computer, my sewing machine, and tons of crap all piled up around the walls.

Do you have any hidden emergency money around your home? No
What color are your walls? Mostly off-white, the rooms that do have color...K-bug-yellow, hall bath-peach, master bath-taupe.
Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home? No
What does your home smell like right now? Like my house.
Favorite candle scent? Pumpkin spice or mocha which makes my house smell like a cafe.
What kind of pickles (if any) are in your refrigerator? Dill slices.

What style do you decorate in? None really, I just want it to feel comfortable and homey.
