I have nothing to write about.
I was going to do a TMI Tuesday, but I didn't like the questions, so...................
I need to find a good meme to do.
Any suggestions?
The rest of my week should be busy, so if I have time maybe I will have something to post about.
I have to register the boys for school tomorrow.
Thursday my cousin is having a jewelry party, {fun!}.
Friday I might do some school shopping, {tax free weekend!}
Saturday evening is the retirement party for my dad.
Some where in there I will have to find time to do laundry.
Oh yeah, and decorate the cake for dad's party.
My life may not be very exciting, but it stays fairly busy!

Fridays Questions

Michelle came through with post ideas, (at least some one helped me out, ha, ha).
So the following are her questions which I will now try to answer.........

My roommate and I once: were best friends, then she turned bitchy and I haven't spoken to her in about 12 years.
Never in my life have I: ummm, there are so many things I could put here. How about "been naked in public"
High school was: some of the best and worst years of my life
When I'm nervous: I bite my fingernails ( I know, gross)
My hair: Is my biggest enemy in the summer
When I was 5: My Daddy was my hero
When I turn my head left: I see myself in the mirror (scary!)

By this time next year: my K-bug will be starting school (sob)

I have a hard time understanding: how anyone could purposely hurt a child

If you visit my home town: You'll see there is not a lot to do
If you spend the night at my house: we'll stay up late talking and giggling, (outside so we don't wake up the kiddies)

My favorite brunette is: My K-bug
The animal I would like to see flying besides birds: A giraffe, wouldn't that be interesting
I shouldn't have been: an only child
Last night I: hung out with Kim
A better name for me would be: I'd have to give this one some thought
I've been told I look like: believe it or not, I use to get told that I look like Natalie Wood
If I could have any car, it would be: My fun side would want something sporty. My practical side would say something that seats 7. Do they make one that will do both? (Yeah, probably, but I wouldn't be able to afford the gas or insurance!)

Thank you all for your prayers. It has been a rough couple of days, but we are getting through it. My Mom's family, (brothers and sisters), have really pulled together and decided they need to spend more time together while they can. I realized how blessed I am to have the aunts, uncles and cousins that I have, even if some of them are a little strange at times. {smile}***********************************************************************************

Anyway back to posting.

My Uncle passed away yesterday morning so I need to be with my family right now.

Better now and weekend project

I am feeling a little better today.

I have been cleaning house (again).

With three kids this is a daily chore.

Not that it stays clean for more than 5 minutes.

Hubby has cut way back on his drinking.

Do I dare hope that this is permanent?

No.

But I will enjoy it while it lasts.

Now if I could just get him to spend less time on the computer playing Call of Duty.

K-bug loves her mommy and baby bunny. I found the pattern in an old craft magazine, copied two different sized patterns and went to work. This is why I have a ton of scrap fabric, so I can do little projects like this when the mood strikes. Ha ha.

Well, better go make the bug some lunch.

Not right now

I really don't feel like posting right now. It's raining again, so the kids are stuck inside, (will y'all PLEASE be quiet and stop running through the house!!!!).
I feel like crap.
I am bloated and tired.
Ugggghhhhhh

Yeah!!!!!!!!

I am soooo excited, (don't start thinking dirty, I didn't mean it like that), I found out a couple of days ago that I passed my test! 2 weeks ago I took the test to substitute at my kids school this year. Now I need to go get a TB test done, pay for my background check and licence, and get fingerprinted. Hopefully I will be able to start shortly after the boys start school, which is Aug. 8th.
If this works out, meaning if I enjoy it and don't want to run screaming from children by the end of the day, then next year I might try to go back to school. Subbing is a trial run to see if I want to try being a teachers aid, which I would have to have a degree for. I still have another year before K-bug can start K-4 at the boys school, (she will be staying with my Mom on the days I work), so I'll see how it goes this year.
More good news.......my dad only has 2 weeks left until he retires! (again).
He was in the Air Force for my entire childhood. He retired from there when I was 18, and we moved down south, I grew up in Utah.
Now he is an airplane mechanic for a charter plane company. But only for 2 more weeks! Can you tell I'm excited?
I am looking forward to getting to see him more often. And K-bug will get to spend lots of time with her Paw paw when ever I am working. I remember how it was when I was little and we'd spend the day together, so I know how much fun it'll be for K-bug. Maybe I'm biased, but I do have The Best Dad In The World. ha ha.

What gives?

So I made my blog private so that I could bitch and whine about stuff and not have to worry about family members reading it, right?
And now.....everything is going pretty good.
So I have nothing to bitch about.
This is so rare.
Maybe I should have done this a while ago.
What did I expect to be ranting about, you might ask.........
well, Hubby likes to drink beer........a lot of beer....everyday.
I told him I think he is an alcoholic, but he denies it.
Well, duh
But the last 3 days he has only drank a little.
Usually he get pretty drunk by bedtime.
Maybe he's on his way back to quitting drinking for a while.
He quit last year for almost 2 months, but then went right back to getting drunk daily.
I don't have anything against alcohol, even though I rarely drink.
But living with someone who drinks to get drunk practically every night is really hard.
Especially with small children in the house.
Say a prayer please, that maybe he's taking a break for a while, or better yet, for good.
Life with him drunk is hard.
Life with him sober reminds me why I married him.

Since I'm awake, I might as well write

So I had this really funny, (well to me anyway), post floating around in my head this morning while I was laying in bed trying to go back to sleep.
Of course the second I get on the computer it floats away.
Well darn.
Speaking of stuff floating in my head, the little voice in my head has decided to be British this morning.
Maybe it did some kind of vacation swap like in the movie the holiday.
Okay, let me explain.......If you are familiar with the show scrubs then you'll get this, otherwise.......I carry on conversations in my head, like J.D. on the show scrubs. I'm talkin entire conversations.
Yes, I am weird.
I accept that.
Plus, I'm not use to being up this early on a Saturday.
It's hubby's fault.
He woke me up and now I can't get back to sleep.
Stupid boy.
He'll be so at the top of my " I do not like you" list before the day is over......I just know it. Uggghhhhhhh
Now that I got that out of my system I think I'll go read some, see if it will make me sleepy.........

Now I just need something to rant about

okay, so here is the reason I wanted to make this private. I want to feel free to write what ever I want with out having to worry about who might read it. You know, like family members, meaning my in-laws, and sometimes even my husband. Well really, I don't care if he reads it, but I'm not going to be going out-of-my-way to give him my password to read it. LOL. After all, he will probably be who or what I will be ranting about most of the time.

Surprisingly, I have nothing to rant about today-so far. Give me some time though, I am sure to come up with something. It's still early in the day.
And such a beautiful, albeit HOT, day it is. Maybe a day free of rain? One can only hope. It has been raining daily for about a week now. I know we need it, but I am sick of being cooped up in the house with these children! Especially since they don't think my game of lets clean house all that fun......They would rather play.......I just don't get it.........aaannnyyywwwaaayyy
I guess I can't blame them. I would rather be stretched out somewhere cool reading a good book than cleaning this doesn't-stay-clean-for-more-than-five-minutes house either. Wow, now there is a run-on sentence for the record books, huh.
Oh well, lunch isn't going it fix itself, ( darn it!), and the little animals are starting to growl in hunger, so I guess I'd better go...............

Oh yeah, I hope everyone had a great 4th!!!!!!!

Slowly getting there

I have a really good excuse for not posting lately, our computer has been down for a few days. So please, anyone that has e-mailed me with their e-mail addresses for an invite, please send it again. I hope to have everything changed by next week. Thank you to all of y'all who have commented about wanting an invite. Y'all are great, and I promise to get this ball rolling as soon as I have the time to do it.
