Okay, so things have FINALLY settled down around here. The kids are on summer break. Soccer season is over, (except for the team party), and Boos birthday is almost over, (his b-day is today), and has already been celebrated. Now I just have to figure out how to entertain them for the next couple of months. Ahhhh! No, not really, actually they spend a lot of time playing outside, and my mom doesn't live far from here so we will usually go over there about once a week.
Not really a lot going on for me to blog about, which is another reason why I haven't been blogging. I guess I have a really boring life. Well, at least to the readers out there I probably do.
I am hoping to get the boys report cards by the end of the week. SCARY. I know boos will be good since I have already seen most of his grades. It's G-mans that I am nervous about. It was kind of a tough school year for him, plus he figured out how to do just enough to get by and pass with a C instead of really working hard for an A or a B. He is definitely my son. And now I am getting paid back just like my parents said I would. LOL.
So I hope everyone had a great long weekend. We had our final soccer game sat. which our team won. Then sat afternoon we went to RockyCreek Catfish restaurant for dinner to celebrate Boos b-day/end of soccer/end of school. The BEST catfish ever! Its right across the border into Mississippi and about 40 min. from where we live. We all, (my parents came with us), came home stuffed. Yes even all 3 kids ate catfish and a lot of it.
Sunday Hubbys baby-brother, (he's 21), came over for hot wings and we just hung out and watched a movie on tv.
Monday Hubby had to work, (insert sad face here), so the kids and I went mini grocery shopping, cleaned house, and did laundry.
See, I told you it's pretty boring around here, and I think I like it that way. The last few years there has been so much drama in our neighborhood that I could write a soap opera. It's nice to be able to enjoy the boring quite now.
I hope everyone has a great week back at work. And I will try to get better at posting just in case anyone decides to visit.

Good to see you back! Why is it we look at our lives as boring to everyone else but when we are at home living it IT IS BUSY BUSY BUSY! LOL!

Thanks y'all! Your right, what may seem boring to some is just a busy day in the life of a mom.
Dish about the neighbors? Well maybe one of these days. Of course it would probably take me a month to write about it all! You might just have to wait for the movie. LOL.
