Happy New Year Everyone!

Happy New Year to everyone! And now I bring you..."How I spent my Christmas Break".....

K-bug seemed happy with her toys

I think G-man was excited about his mp3 player, even though it wasn't an ipod.

Boo is still pretty easy to shop for, (what a mistake this gift was, it makes more of a mess than playdoh, but at least I can vacuum it out of the carpet).

Now she can help Mommy clean, and it really does work y'all!

A scary picture of me, the game I am holding is so fun. We ended up playing it on New Years with friends.

My dad and the kids.

From reading through y'alls blogs, it sound like everyone had a pretty good Christmas and New Years. We got up early Christmas morning and opened presents with the kids. Then got breakfast, got dressed, and headed over to my parents house to open more presents and eat.
The kids got a lot of toys, the husband got a fire pit for outside, and I got lots of stuff for my kitchen.

New Years we spent at home. We grilled with some friends of ours, a guy hubby works with and his wife and baby, and my BIL and BFF, (who are still seeing each other btw). We ate, hung out by the fire, then ended up coming inside and playing Apples to Apples until almost midnight. At about 10 minutes till we all went outside to count down and watch fireworks with the kids.

For those of you who have never heard of or played Apples to Apples I have to tell you...it is so fun. Especially if you have at least 6 people playing. My SIL brought her Thanksgiving, and we played with the max of 10 people. I think that is the most fun I have ever had with my in-laws.

I am so glad the holidays are over. My boys go back to school Monday. They had like 2 1/2 weeks off! I am soooooo ready for them to go back to school. They have been stuck inside for most of their break because of the weather. It's been either rainy or cccccoooooolllllllddddddd.
Also, Monday is the day I start back with doing yoga and eating better. Lets see how long I will last this year, shall we........The husband is also working on his health by trying to cut back on the drinking. So far so good, I hope I don't jinx it by saying I am very proud of him for making an effort. I am going to try to stay positive for him, and be as supportive as I can.

HAPPY 2008 !!!!!!!!!

I'll have to check out Apples to Apples...I've heard it was fun from others too.
Hooray for your hubby trying to cut back!! Keep supporting him and letting him know that you care...it's not easy for him and he'll need all the support he can get. Good luck to you with eating healthy and yoga. I'm trying the same thing...got some lbs to loose this year!
Happy New Year Manda
