How I spent spring break




Since y'all asked for it, here are the pictures of the chalkboard closet doors I did for Boo's room.























Of course, they are no longer this clean! LOL. They have had a blast drawing all over these doors. And as you can see, I even tried it out.




And this is the border that I finally got done on the side of our garage, (which really needs to be painted). The large plants are hot pink crape myrtles with variegated monkey grass in between. Now I just have to wait for the grass to grow back around it.
This was my favorite project. I love getting my hands dirty out in my flower beds. I will post more pictures as I complete more projects. : ) On the right lower half of the picture is my neighbors back yard fence. The stuff growing out of it is actually soft pink climbing roses. I will take pictures when they bloom so y'all can see what a difference all that color makes. Hopefully all of the grass around the border will have grown back by then!

What a fabulous idea!! I wish I had these when the kids were little. Would have saved a lot of elbow grease!
